Descaler effectively removes tough scale and mineral deposits from commercial dishwasher machines, steam tables and many other equipment surfaces. Overtime, hard-water deposits minerals (calcium and magnesium) on your equipment creating a chalky-white film that can negatively affect dishware appearance and equipment operation. Our formula is powerful and effective, saving time and effort, and safely delimes a wide-variety of equipment. Use in both high and low temperature dishwasher machines and for hand de-scaling steam tables, stainless steel tables, counter tops and any kitchen surface with scale residue.
Use regularly as needed to remove scale buildups that occur (usually within 1-2 weeks) depending on incoming water conditions, type of detergent and if you use a water softener. Great for any food service kitchen including restaurants, diners, hotels, schools and not-for profits. Safe to use on stainless steel, copper, iron and glass.
DISHWASHER DESCALING DIRECTIONS:
Descaling machine with interior-wash tank or single use wash tank. Fill wash tank with clean water. Add 2 cups of Descaler to compartment where dishes are cleaned. Begin dishwasher cycle and pause machine during wash step to allow machine to soak 15-20 minutes for light to medium buildups and 30-45 min for heavy deposits. Restart and complete dishwasher cycle. Drain tank and refill with water.
For dishwasher machines with automatic de-liming cycle insert tubing into bottle and run cycle until deposits are removed. Extra heavy deposits may require hand cleaning.
HAND DESCALING DIRECTIONS: To manually hand clean kitchen equipment and various surfaces dilute the Descaler into a spray bottle or other container. Apply mixture to effected surfaces. Clean using brush and/or rag. Allow extra heavy deposits to soak for 5-10 minutes. Flush surface with clean water.
