My pc came with i7 CPU and NVideo card.The laptop came with 8 out 16 GB RAM.Despite having an i7 CPU, my computer works adequately as a midrange computer.It has sufficient power for most users but would be too weak for gamers.This pc has 3 USB ports, two ports on right and one on left, The 2 USB ports on right are very close together.Although I am able to get my 2 USB devices in the right side USB ports, anyone with a thicker USB device would not be able to get both devices in the USB port.This laptop comes with HDMI port and no VGA port, It has a DVD RW drive, which many new laptops no longer offer.It has a SD card reader on left side.I like the feel of the keyboard,The tracking device takes getting used to but works adequately. I can multitask but, at times, it seems somewhat sluggish, especially if I have not restarted in a day or two.I would agree with other reviewers that this pc needs additional RAM to work better.Display is a problem in sunlight in that the monitor is shiny rather than matte finish making it difficult to see.Although it is not overwhelming with regard to performance, it has been able to keep up with me most of the time as I multitask.It surprised me when the pc refused to print a relatively small document (it said it had not enough memory).It worked fine (and printed the document) after I restarted.I gave it 4 stars because of the glossy display, USB ports too near each other on right and insufficient memory. On the plus side the price was reasonable, performance overall is adequate and it offers good features.

I have owned this laptop for almost four years and it is still going strong. I just needed a laptop for my online degree which I finished six months ago. It has always worked great for loading videos, homework assignments, and I now use it to stream movies and tv shows. Pretty much never have to wait for it to load anything. Although it has slowed down in its processing speed a little from when I got it four years ago (it might take a minute or two longer to start up or load a website), I think that is to be expected. Other than that, it still does everything I need it to with no problems. I can't speak on the battery life because I mostly just leave it plugged in, but when I did rely on the battery, I believe it lasted for several hours.

I got this machine about 3 months ago and I have been using it for a range of tasks including internet browsing, document preparation, simple video editing and light gaming (Age of Empires and Tropico 4, I'm hoping it can run Street Fighter 5); basically I'm an average home user. At work I use a Dell Precision 6800 and when I'm traveling I use a Surface 3, so this was just the right "in the middle machine" for me. When you consider what you are getting for what you are paying, it's not too bad at all- an i7 processor, a 1TB HDD, 8GB Ram, dedicated NVIDIA graphics card and a DVD/CD RW, personally I'd have preferred to have more Ram right out of the box, but upgrading on your own seems simple enough. I'm a strong advocate for using Windows 10, so do that upgrade now! Also, activate the Windows Defender anti virus, it's pretty decent and when paired with Malwarebytes Anti Exploit, you get good protection. The key board isn't my favourite, but I'll live. I rarely use the touch pad. HDMI works as it should, USB 3.0 is amazing. I can't think of what else to add, I bought it and I like it a lot.

I've had this computer for 3 weeks and so far so good. Make sure to update all drivers and flash bios before you do anything else. This model seemed to have some issues with fan noise and overheating but the newest bios helped to remedy it.The fan is still pretty loud if you try to run graphic heavy games.THIS IS NOT A STRAIGHT UP GAMING LAPTOP. It runs minecraft perfectly with itunes in the background no problem, but you won't be running skyrim at full specs or anything like that. The screen doesn't have great resolution but once again, you get a lot for your money in this laptop anyway. The graphics card definitely helps to take some stress off of the cpu when you run games, and the boot time to windows is only a minute or so. Honestly its perfect for someone who wants this to be an all purpose computer.It can handle graphic heavy programs and medium level gaming no problem, just don't expect more than that. I would recommend this computer, I am very happy with my purchase so far.

I was looking for a good laptop as I am a college student. After weeks of looking for a decently priced laptop, I found this one on Amazon prime day. Everything about the laptop was basically how it was advertised. It runs really smooth still and powers up really quickly. At the price of this laptop on amazon prime day, you really can't get much more. It's a great laptop for college and even runs a lot of games smoothly. Only two cons that I have about this laptop is how it does heat up quite a bit once in a while and leads you to your hands getting really warm. The other con being the touchpad not having separate left click, right click, and main scrolling, as it's basically all together (it was advertised this way however). Overall, a great laptop to buy!

I would never buy a laptop online again. The service is very poor. The start button got stuck within 1 year ( which was within the warranty period) and when I contacted amazon, they asked me to contact DELL. When I contacted DELL they told the warranty had expired, even though it was less than one year since I purchased the laptop. They wanted amazon to go and RESET something on their system. A long sequence of phone calls happened.
Basically Amazon and DELL were passing the responsibility to each other. Amazon offered to get back to me but NEVER did. I did not bother them after that as it was my work laptop and I needed it urgently. So, I got someone else to fix it. Unfortunately, the button is stuck again and I was told that this is a common problem with this model. I am not sure how true it is, but the gist of it that you do not get any support when things go wrong with your laptop.

1. Durability: I have an old Dell Laptop for last 10 years , but the Inspiron purchase in last 3 years has shaken my confidence in Dell.
2. Keyboard: I had to twice change my keyboard for 2600INR each.
3. Dell display cable is faulty hence you can position laptop in a particular position only. In other position screen blinks.
4. I had to change the laptop charger and now the battery is giving end of life (after 3 years!!!!) message.
5. Performance - It does not run even simple programs - I had to replace RAM to improve performance.
